Sports Turf International Chooses Cod Rock Media
| June 14, 2006 |
KITTERY POINT, ME Cod Rock Media Productions has signed on an up and coming player in the synthetic turf installation industry, Sports Turf International of Amesbury, MA, and will produce a sales video centered around a case study installation. Scarborough (ME) High School needs to replace its grass field with a “Sports Turf” system, which mimics real grass but requires much less maintenance and is far more durable, designed to withstand year-round use by a variety of sports teams.
The video will trace the installation process from before groundbreaking through each installation stage to the opening night football game. Cod Rock Media will make several trips to Scarborough and will work with Operations Manager Eric Lenardson to capture the key milestones of installation such as initial groundbreaking, drainage and gravel installation, turf rollout, and spreading of rubber infill. Eric will also provide commentary on the installation process. When Scarborough High School plays its first football game on the field, Cod Rock Media will be there to capture how well the turf holds up in its first test.
The resulting video will be used as a sales tool to allow Sports Turf International to demonstrate their product to potential customers. STI will capitalize on the video’s flexibility by using it on their web site as well as on a sales DVD for presentation or distribution purposes.
